MEET OUR LAKE GENEVA Y DUCKS SWIM TEAM COACHES

Our experienced and passionate coaching staff has an expansive track record for developing swimmers of all ages into phenomenal athletes who have great character and practice good sportsmanship!

The Ducks coaches pride themselves on providing a positive, fun, and family-centered team culture. It's a winning combination -- our swimmers train hard, have fun and swim fast!

Our coaches have all been athletes themselves, so not only do they have impressive coaching credentials, they've "swam a mile in those fins." They know, from decades of personal experience what a "day-in-the-life" of a swimmer is like and what it takes to achieve success.

Assistant Coaches

Jenny Beshel, Age Group Coach

My name is Jenny Beshel, (right side in pic).  I am the Age Group Coach. I have been swimming on the Ducks Masters Team for the past 6 years, on and off. I have also had the pleasure of watching how awesome this Ducks family is, from the sidelines, as a parent for the past two years. I attended High School at St. Joseph’s in South Bend, swam, and attended Eastern Illinois University. I coached varsity girls swimming at Mundelein High School as well as coached for the Mundelein Mustangs Swim Club

I have been a public school teacher for the past 16 years and in that time have coached varsity swimming, club swimming, and middle school volleyball and basketball. Go Ducks!

Megan has previously coached for a recreational swim team for a number of years and is now excited to be coaching USA/YMCA!

Outside of the pool, Megan spends a lot of time with her residents at the nursing home. Megan started as a homemaker serving meals and is now a certified nursing assistant.
