Join Our Flock - New Swimmer Evals
Wednesday, September 4: 5-6 pm at the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA

Ready to swim like a champion? We are excited to have you join our flock!  Joining the Lake Geneva YMCA Ducks Swim Team is easy as 1-2-3:

1) Attend A Swim Team Placement / Evaluation Session: Group placement nights are scheduled several times throughout the year. Next date is posted above. If these dates don't work for you, contact Head Coach Glenn Biller to schedule a swim team eval (glenn.biller@glymca.org  or 262-248-6211, ext. 23).  Parents, please attend to talk with our coaching staff and learn more about swim team. Based on this evaluation, families will then be directed to register online for the appropriate swim team level. View our practice schedule & fees here.

2) Prerequisites To Join: Swimmers must be able to complete at least two, 25-yard swims using freestyle & backstroke (front & back crawl) & know the basics of breastroke and butterfly. If your child is not quite ready for team, YMCA swim lessons and private lessons are a great way to prepare for team.

3) A YMCA Membership Is Required To Join The Ducks.  Sign up at the Y front desk. A USA Swimming membership is required for all Lake, Wood & Mallard level swimmers (this is an additional fee & allows swimmers to compete in USA Swimming-sanctioned meets). Once registered for swim team, our coaches will get you the info you need to obtain your USA Swimming membership.
