Want to Swim Like A Champion? You've come to the right place! Our Lake Geneva YMCA Ducks Swim Team is a top-ranked swim club in Lake Geneva, WI, that trains and competes year-round in both USA Swimming & YMCA sanctioned events. Our professional coaches provide expert technique instruction in a positive environment for beginners to national-level competitors, ages 5-18+, from all over southeast Wisconsin & northern Illinois. In a nutshell, we train hard, swim fast and have fun! The Lake Geneva YMCA Ducks Swim Team is a program of the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA.
Ducks Swimming Quick Facts:
- We train hard, have fun & swim fast! Our Lake Geneva swim team competes regularly in swim meets around thestate,
with some out-of-state competitions for those wishing for an even higher level of competition. Swim meets give our competitors ample opportunities to grow in the sport, meet their goals and reach their full potential. - We have an experienced and passionate coaching staff with an expansive track record for developing swimmers of all ages into phenomenal athletes who have great character and practice good sportsmanship! Our swimmers range in age from 5-18+, and we also offer a master's team for adults.
- Our swimmers are top-ranked in the state. Congrats to our state champions, numerous top-20 placing athletes in WI, & our USA Zones & National Meet qualifiers! Many of our swimmers go on to swim at the college level.
- We are strong and flexible! Our swimmers benefit from a "dryland" strength and flexibility training program that is designed by a certified personal trainer.
- We give back & have fun! As part of our local YMCA, character development, team work & community involvement are key elements of our program. Our team members and their families enjoy several fun team-building and community service events throughout the swim seasons. Plus, we have an active and ultra-fun parent group. Our swim team is a family!
- Sibling discounts and financial assistance is available through our YMCA.

How To Join/Register
ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR FALL/WINTER SEASON IS NOW OPEN!
- Returning swim team members: please click the "Team Registration" button on our homepage to register.
- New swimmers wishing to join our Lake Geneva YMCA Ducks Swim Team: please attend a swim team placement/evaluation session before the first day of practice, or contact Head Coach Glenn Biller (glenn.biller@glymca.org or 262-248-6211, ext. 23) to schedule one. Parents are encouraged to attend the evaluation session in order to talk with the coaching staff about placing their child on the team. Based on this evaluation, families can then register online for the appropriate swim team level.
- Prerequisites To Join: swimmers must be able to complete at least two, 25-yard swims using freestyle and backstroke (front & back crawl) and know the basics of breaststroke & and butterfly. Not quite ready? Join the Lake Geneva YMCA Duck Swim Team Group 1 level!
- A YMCA membership is required to join. Sign up at the Y front desk. A USA Swimming membership is encouraged for all for all swimmers (this is an additional fee & allows swimmers to swim in USA Swimming-sanctioned meets).
Lake Geneva Master's Swim Team
The Geneva Lakes YMCA Masters Swim Team is for anyone 18 years of age or older who would like to continue swimming either for competitions or just for the health of it.
